What does Les Miles coach at LSU? Saban has defense, Meyer and has Offense, Miles has Tight Ends? Jack stuck around 8 years in the NFL as a head coach. He's made the playoffs as a NFL head coach and has stuck around the league for a long, long time. I'll take a .500 NFL head coach with a strong defense and a talent advantage at LSU

Wow, you've just made your own case for being an idiot.

Miles will still succeed at LSU...he's just knocked the program down to the upper middle tier in my honest opinion.

Agreed he is good but not great. He also needs to change some position coaches. Stud needs to go and so does Corey Raymond.

Coach Les Miles is the very best coach that LSU football is capable of having for the job of head football coach at LSU.

They are saying that because they have a vested interest in Miles staying here...they are on the Miles gravy train and are posting on here as a PR effort. Who else would put that much effort into it? Always follow the money.

Coach Franklin is relatively young for a head coach and said some stupid things, i.e. about coach's wives but he is a stand up guy. If you are referring to the incident this summer, I don't think any coach can predict or handle a sociopath. Other than that really don't know what you are talking about.

LSU is a national player now. The name recruits itself.

God I hate this thought process more than anything. How recent of a fan do you have to be, or how stupid, or how little about recruiting do you have to know to actually believe this?

The guy (Jimbo) has a good team this yr, but he is definitely not going to do a better job than Miles.

4-4 in bowl games (1 BCS bowl, admittedly against Northern Illinois), and will play for a national championship this year with a first year QB.

In that span, we've won 1 bowl game.

eta: they beat Clemson last year...which we couldn't do.

Who happens to be one of if not the best qb in the country.

We made it to the ncg with jarrett lee and JJ as our abs. More impressive.

Miles couldn't even carry Sean Paytons headphones on the sideline for him, much less Belichick's. And you can see how the Satan thing is going.
