They beat 8 ranked teams, including 3 top 3 teams. Name a more impressive season than that… until 2012

"Impressive season" is an opinion not a fact. Miami in 2000 beat the number 1 and 2 team then beat SEC champ Florida in the bowl game, Nebraskas 95 season destroying an undefeated SEC champion Florida team, 91 Alabama beating the 2 best teams in the county back to back to win it all. I could go on and on listing actual undefeated championship seasons that are more impressive than a runner up season to me but like I said impressive is an opinion not fact.
