Jones didn't play much safety this year at all.
I would bet a lot of money that Jones, if properly coached, would be a better safety. He has more range and better ball skills.

chavis has always had "center field/ball hawking" guys at safety. not 220lb run stoppers. chavis will shake things up when he gets here, just to wake up some of the safeties.
