Correct. The beginning of the season was Webster, R Prude, J Hunt, and T Daniels playing FS.

so whats funny? McCray played better at safety than Jones and it was obvious. Thats why he'll probably start in 2009. He sucked in coverage though.

Nah, he switched positions. He was playing OLB and then was beat out by Vaughn. Bryce Wyatt was playing DT and was beat out by K Williams.

hmm... might be right. I really didnt remember prude starting but i knew laron didnt start his frosh year. good nugget of info.

Pretty certain. I believe, at least for the Zona game, that he was starting back there. Then, Saban realized that Prude wasn't going to man down his corner, so TD was moved back.

Rewatching the game C. jones was all over the field starting at the free safety spot. I think Jones and Coleman start at safety and mccray rotates in on some type of package.

If we are switching to cover 4 then our safeties are gonna need to play better in space and have good ball skills. I think McCray and possibly Jones could end up back there but guys like Loston, Hatcher and potentially Myles could get plenty of playing time until Chavis figures out who fits best.

The best scenario would be this but it is highly doubtful: KH fs CJ ss
CJ is a sure tackler and would be great against the run.
KH just seems to be a playmaker.
