Who will play QB in the bowl game?

I don't really care if Max Johnson leaves. The portal is a way of life now, and a school like LSU will benefit from it more than be harmed by it.
The portal is a two-way street and I'm sure Kelly will pick up someone for next year if he doesn't think Nuss or Walker are ready.
But it does bring up the immediate question of the bowl game?
This will mean Nuss has to burn his year, correct?

It will either be on the true freshman walk ons or Nuss. Can’t imagine his family would be thrilled about burning a redshirt for a meaningless game.

Yea.
The pros outweigh the cons. He gets a month of prep work with the first team, plays the bowl game and gets a head start on competing for the starting job with Walker Howard.
It would be a bad look to sideline yourself with a new coach and a QB competition on the horizon.
Also, you can't predict the future. He may need that redshirt one day due to an injury.
