Agreed

Nothing he said was wrong. A team that has better chemistry has a big advantage in game 1, especially at home. It took Ohio State well over half the season to hit start hitting all cylinders. Roster turnover ravages team chemistry. Whether you like it or not Clemson has an advantage here especially at home. If LSU was playing them game 10 compared to game 1? Well, that's probably an entirely different situation.

Clemson already has that virus. They lost 35-3 last year to open the season, and 28-7 to DUKE in 2023.

Clemson-ing is still a thing

Clemson played a joke of a schedule last year. They didnt even play overrated Miami. They got run over several games last year...and 0-3 vs SEC...but yeah, they loaded.

I don’t know. I’m pulling for LSU but don’t know enough about our offensive line to be confident. Also, BK needs to get this 1st game monkey off of his back.

Returning starters doesn’t mean as much as it used to.
As much, but still means something. More at the beginning of the season especially

Depends upon how drunk I get before kickoff.

It's most likely Clemson wins. I just don't think it would be a big upset if LSU wins because I don't think these teams are as far apart from a talent standpoint.

Maybe Clemson catches our virus of screwing up first game.
They have been blown out the last 2 times

I’ll probably do it half an hour before kick off after I’m 10 beers in.

In the age of the transfer portal, is this a significant metric?
I don’t know, but I bet if LSU had that stat, many people on this board would think it’s a significant metric.

I already put $200 on LSU ML at +148.
Sorry guys. It’s my fault.

May put 500 on Clemson ML. I’d gladly pay that to see us win

Nope, not touching this one.

You missed the point, almighty ball-knower.
Ohio State spent $20mil in the portal and won the Natty. Clemson returns 17 from a 9-3 team. Returning starters doesn’t mean as much as it used to.
How much did Ole Miss and FSU spend and what were their records? Or do you only want to look at teams that fit your narrative?
