I think the dline could surprise, Ika looks like that 3-4 nose guard we’ve been waiting for. This guy is a wrecking ball in the middle and if he gets the reps he’s going to change the fundamental complexion of our base look. With Shelvin behind him that spot looks solid and everything up front starts there. I’d love to see the staff commit to playing Divinity at ILB, that’s his natural spot and he could make a huge difference there. With his length and size he could be a poor mans Patrick Willis, same body type with the long arms and sideline to sideline ability. I’d also love to see Stevens get the other safety spot opposite Delpit, we have to find a spot for this guy and I think playing the 3-4 box safety spot would be his best. My biggest worry is at edge rusher, even if Chassion comes back we have to have a couple others emerge. Anthony and Thornton look the part but haven’t produced so far.

Last few years of LM tenure was not as good as O’s first few years

And you base this on what exactly? Because the records are equal...pretty much exactly

And les' recruiting was a pretty good bit higher ranked.

Sooo...do you go by facts or just your perception of reality?

LOL, facts are Saban never won as consistently with his recruits as Miles managed to win with them.

You goalpost movers fap over Ed's only 3 loss season, when Miles accomplished 3 or less 8/11 tries, and was fired with 3 losses or less 5 of his last 6 years here.

Sounds great. I live in Washington State, but if I ever make it to BR during football season, I'll take you up on that offer.

Tell him how it is. It's hilarious to listen to some of them pound their chests over something o did when they pissed and moaned about it when Miles was the coach

Premature. O has done nothing yet. If Les would have hired a competent OC, someone who could compete with the likes of bama and clem and the elite, like Canada did, he'd still be LSU's coach. The fact is Les got conservative on offense He stood on that sideline and did nothing as the time just crept away. I've never in my life seen a coach just watch his team go down and try nothing different. He could have put Lee in, he could have just went to a shotgun and told Jefferson to throw the ball and if nobody is open run it, instead he just stood there, frozen with fear, like a deer in the headlights. I've never been so embarrassed to be an LSU fan in my life. That being said, O is on his way, but he still has a long way to go.

LSU was not the best team in SEC in 2007. The Imbecile would never have beaten Georgia at the end of the year. We were lucky they lost the first 2 games early that year. They were the hottest team in the country that year at the end.

Yes, LSU was. In 2007 the SEC was as mediocre as it gets. LSU and UGA has 2 losses, everyone else had at least 4 losses on the season. It was the easiest of years to win it all.

Wait, your claim is that because every team had multiple losses, which indicates that every team was competitive and could beat any other team, that the SEC was easier to win?

The SEC sent 9 of its 12 teams to bowls and won 7 of them, finishing the year with 5 ranked teams. It is amazing how stupid you are.

Yeah, such an impressive loss by Canada. Too bad he couldn’t compete with the likes of Troy, State, and Notre Dame.

You're free to make an actual argument against what I posted, but you won't. There isn't one to make.

Like he handcuffed him when he only managed 100 total yards against Michigan State and shite the bed against Temple this year, but had the talent to beat Texas and give Ohio State all it wanted? That up and down performance seems familiar. Hmmmm.

Oh, guess we can use 0's times at schools not named LSU against him now. Cool.

It’s amazing how the Rant will defend one-and-done unemployed journeymen OCs, but refuse to give the benefit of any doubt to the LSU HC.
