Ole Miss was selected for an NY6 bowl in back to back seasons with 3 losses. Wasn’t the Fiesta Bowl specifically but non CFP NY6 bowl games are all basically the same

Yes or No...
Must win the SEC west?

Make the playoffs with at minimum a sec west title?
Make the playoffs without winning sec/sec west?

Do you think an at-large Fiesta Bowl bid is more impressive than an at-large Sugar Bowl bid? I literally addressed that in my post
I know you were trying to make a point previously but it really wasn’t a good one. All at-large NY6 bowl births for non playoff teams are essentially equal. It would be pretty pointless to argue otherwise
But here you go, Arizona was an at-large pick for the 2014 Fiesta Bowl with 3 losses

You do realize that with 4 teams going to the playoffs more 3 loss teams will make fiesta, sugar, rose, and orange bowl right? Your it hasn’t happened in a decade argument is not as big of a deal as you make it out to be bc the parameters have changed

Two of these will be playoff games, rotating with the cotton and peach bowls, each season. Outside of the playoffs you still only have 4 “major” bowl games. Just like with the BCS.

9-3 with struggling QB production and 63-10 combined scoring against Bama is not an upgrade from Les.
