“ Best not his worst years ”
Exactly!
We fired him because he wasn’t achieving at the level we wanted Why is it Acceptable , almost 3 years later, for LSU to be basically performing at the same level as the coach we fired.
Hopefully, we will win the west this year and put all this debate behind us.

It's just funny...
Back when people were pushing to replace Miles, his supporters would bring up his record and call everyone ungrateful. The anti-Miles people would claim anyone could match that record at LSU with all our advantages. Then the Miles faction would say, "who could you possibly find who could do better?"and proceeded to ridicule any names that were brought up. So we hire the worst coach in ol Miss history (who was never mentioned in those threads) and what do you know? He's doing about the same as Miles. Now the O fan club is trying to make the same argument: "Look at the record! Who could we possibly find who would be better?" It must not be that hard to find replacements who can deliver this kind of performance at LSU after all.

Yeah, without Nick Saban in the conference.

Les Miles missed opportunities:
National Championships
2006
2011
2012
2013
Heisman
Fournette (2015)
Harsh reality:
Les underperformed

Les beat Saban three times. Multiple other coaches have beaten Saban. Dabo just stomped his arse in the national championship game with a true freshman QB.

Les went undefeated in the regular season with a Saban that'd already won a NC.
When you guys try to diminish his accomplishments it makes you look foolish. You try to make beating Saban this incredible task when multiple other coaches have done it, including the one you guys think the current coach is clearly better than.
This excuse making has got to stop.

This is incredibly myopic
2006 was won by Urban Meyer, 2011 and 12 by Nick Saban, those are regarded as the 2 best coaches of this era and 2 of the best ever but yes Les was “underachieving” because he didn’t beat those guys when they had equally talent teams. Especially 2011 when he did beat Saban but screwed into rematch

With Saban’s players.
Les= 21-0 forever!!!!

I just wanted a rematch with Florida in 2006. That was robbed by the refs In auburn on a picked up PI Flag

21-0
Les freaking Miles.
Can’t even cross midfield on a team that Kent State and Georgia State scored 28 points against.

Who will admit O has exceeded expectations
He has exceeded my expectations. I thought he would fail with 6-6 type seasons tbh. I admit I was wrong there, happily.
He has not exceeded my program expectations of 10 regular season wins and beating Bama.

an upgrade from Les?
He has not done this yet. Not even close. Les won a title and had a magical year in 2011.

O just keeps ascending.
Its hard to not ascend from losing to mid majors and having the worst loss in the 100+ year history of the lsu vs msu game.
Also, miles was losing to bama and multiple other inferior teams and struggled on offense. Please explain how O is not doing that exact same thing.
