There were no others. O was never going to consider anyone but BP. Despite the fact you had guys like David Reeves, Jim Leonard and others...they weren’t even considered.

Exactly. We kept hearing about how Orgeron would conduct a search for the best possible coordinator to replace Aranda. There was no search. There were no others interviewed as far as I can remember.

He doesn't ever put together a list or compare this guy against that guy. He zeroes in on one guy. That's how we end up giving the guy a 10x raise from his current job, zero leverage.

The "search" involved a phone call to Pete Carroll asking him who he should hire.
