It's one more than 17 and one less than 19

Somebody correct me if i'm wrong but it started with Mauck. It's meant to be handed down to the player who is the team's leader.

You're wrong. It goes to the white skilled player that shows a lot of "heart".

So Richard Dickson is this team's leader?

Hell, I don't even buy into Mauck being the leader of the title team. Spears, Clayton, Webster, Hill, and Lavalais were all better leaders based on their play IMO.

I don't know if you understand the idea of being a leader.

They were better players based on their play. By your calculations, T.O. would be a great team leader

I have a feeling this discussion is going to take a turns for the worst

And just curious if this could possibly be racist, when was the last time a non-white player wore it?

Tell me what leadership qualities MM had that Marcus Spears didn't.

I don't think comparing Marcus Spears of the 03' season to T.O. is fair by any shot. Spears was def. a leader that year. Just because you're black and talented doesn't mean you aren't a leader a-hole.

At the end of the 2007 season it looked as though dickson would be both a statistical and team leader. He had a bit of a down year, but he could still be the leader in the huddle. I don't know what goes on, but it seems CS is always the one speaking for the team in the media
