In my earliest memories of LSU fandom it was Jamarcus Russell. I became the type of fan who never misses a game in 07 with Flynn behind center. I was only a student for 2 years and was cursed with Anthony Jennings and Brandon Harris for that time.

However, at my first game ever with my Dad on October 25, 1969 in Tiger Stadium vs Auburn, the first pass was not thrown by Lee or Hillman, but by HB Buddy Gilbert - to Andy Hamilton, on the first play from scrimmage, for a touchdown. LSU won 21-20 when George Bevan blocked the tying extra point in the 4th quarter.
