It's so easy to be a big tough guy on the phone. A couple of weeks ago some jamoke called in and asked coach O if the rumor was true that Houston HC Herman hugs and kisses his players and that O was going to have coach Jenkins start doing the same. I thought O was about to blow a lug nut... O said "that is a stupid question" then Chris Blair went quickly to the next caller. If that guy would've asked that question live it would've been on (not a fight) but some type of confrontation for sure. Guess some arse clowns think that shite is funny over the phone.

I don't know, but tonight I was driving home in Tennessee and caught the show on AM radio (WWL) while looking for the WS. I've often read the recap of the show on Dandy Don, but this was the first time I've actually heard it. I caught the last 20 or so minutes. The Evil Twin dude is twisted. In line with the coaching change, there should be a refresh of "callers in".
Anyway, Coach O really seems to say the right things. Honest and direct - something we've been missing for years.

Same here man I love the guy and he's grown as a coach each stop he's gotten better. Most head guys struggle at their first job but you can tell he's learned a lot. He loves LSU and wants to win desperately you can't ask more from a coach plus he knows football he's a great dline coach and recruiter. If he can keep the recruiting where it is and make good hires I have no doubt he can do well. In his first week he talked about being overbearing and trying to coach everything at ole miss he's learned from that and let's his guys run their groups, it shows. We have a great staff full of top level recruiters and with his extensive relationships and connections I have no doubt he'd hire the right OC for us. This is why I'd love for him to get the job. I know if Herman is avalible it'll be hard to pass on him but other than that guy there's nobody els I'd want to get this job than coach O.

Oh ok got ya. I know he played at notre dame so figured he was from Crowley.
