Dad and I were there. Didn't rush the field but we were sitting close to that one MSU fan that made the paper the next day for going shirtless with green and white paint in a sea of LSU fans.
2 things I remember about that game:
1-the back to back kickoff returns
2-it was fricking cold

I was there and rushed the field. Got drunk at 15yrs old. :/
I remember going down to the restroom and concession stand and there was something like 20 points scored just in that time.

Tried coming up with some catchy ESPN signs and didn't fare so well

I was there. Beating Saban's arse convincingly seemed so much simpler back then...

Consider that DiNardo beat Saban handily. Let that ruminate and percolate for a minute....then realize how upside-down the world is. Lol

Coaches don't win games. Players do. It's not complicated.

And little did we know at the time that we beat our future coach that day, who would bring us A NC three years after he got here.............

I was at both Indy Bowls that LSU played in and I honestly don't recall people rushing the field. All I remember is having icicles on my balls for both games....

Now that I think back, it was pretty well connected for DiNardo in both of those games.
Played his successor and his Alma Mater. And beat both pretty convincingly.

Another fun fact - DiNardo was the Head Coach of the XFL's Birmingham Thunderbolts with Defensive Coordinator Curley Hallman.
They went 2-8.
They went 2-8.

Both Indy bowls were really cold and I remember freezing at both of them. They both had good end results though.

There is NOTHING fun about that fact

I was there along with several good friends.

I was there with my mom. I was only about 8 @ the time, but I remember that game like it was yesterday. We sat around a few MSU fans, nice folks, who left before the end. Mom wouldn't let me rush the field though, I was too young she said.. lol. Good times! Being so young, I used to LOVE when LSU would play in the Indy bowl..those games were so awesome.
Edit. We did go down and got on the field after most of fans had left.. Mom knew a guy working the sidelines. I was in heaven!

It was cold and wet for the LSU/Notre Dame game a year after the LSU/Michigan State game in 1995...I believe the LSU/Michigan State game was cold but clear...could you be confusing the two games?

The State game was cold and clear....the next year Vs notre dame it was sleeting a lot and nasty. Rondell Mealy went off!

Both games are a blur , I remember being on the field and I had one of those golden helmets in my grasp, but he jerked it away from me ! So close!
