Nice cut and past. Post the link next time.
The link to what? My own posts?

We are all aware of that. It doesn't change the senario.
The “senario” is that all the athletic department has to do to pay Kelly’s buyout without private funding is spend a little less somewhere else.
If you’re gonna freak out about “taxpayer liability” with every fricking contract LSU athletics sign, maybe we should spin the athletic department off as a private entity separate from the BOS. I’m all for it. Then we wouldn’t have to worry about politicians making up bullshite to stir the pot.

Gd i was unaware how fricking stupid landry actually is. If you ever wanted to completely frick a hiring process this is how you do it. The absolute most effective way possible.
The meddling buffoon going on every media outlet embarrassing himself and everyone involved -somehow unwittingly- is the icing on the cake.

Little problem there. LSU is a State School

Congrats. You and Landry made us all aware of a problem that doesn’t exist.
What next?

The whole program. Boosters, BOS, and past president.
I sense a “fire them all now” demand coming.

The contracts are signed with LSU. Who pays in the event of a default?
This is like a child's understanding of something. It's as if my kid came up and asked me "If everyone else in the country died except me would I be the president?" True in a literal sense, but not a situation that can ever happen. Yes, the taxpayer would theoretically be on the hook for a coach's buyout if the entire athletic department shut down and had no way to pay. The same would be true if there were a zombie apocalypse and all our donors became infected and had to be put down. Do we need to start writing zombie exceptions into our coaches' contracts?

If the concern is that “the state” is on the hook for all of the athletic department contracts rather than TAF, why would there be a problem letting everyone in the athletic department work for TAF instead? Let TAF collect all of the athletic revenue and let TAF be responsible for all athletic costs. No more state liability.
I mean that’s the thing that people are freaking out about, right? That the BOS is listed as the counterparty to the contract? I can assure you it’s not the only long-term athletics contract with the BOS as counterparty.

It's supposed to the the State.
It's Louisiana State University afterall.

Governor Retard has completely immolated his political career. I’m a three time Trump voter and if I still lived in Louisiana I would vote for Hillary Clinton over this jackass.

So you are saying that boosters signed the contract to pay BK's annual salary?
