I had high hopes for him this year, but he downright struggled. I feel like every time he was on the field dude was getting burned

You must be blind. He had a great first year. Pretty damn good in coverage

I wasn't super impresessed with Eugene last year, but now that he's got that experience under his belt, it'll be tough to pass him. I agree white may have a shot though. I don't see mills moving to nickel in the 4-2-5 though, he's gonna stay outside.

I'm somewhat concerned about him. His pass coverage is not-so-good. His hat is wonderful. A mixed bag for sure. Martin, if he is the other safety, better be great in coverage to make up for Loston pass coverage being just so-so. Or maybe Corey Thompson is the man to step up.

If he can get bigger and stronger, Derrick Raymond has all the tools to be great

The forgotten man. Word is Raymond is fast as fock. We have lots of young talent in this 2013 secondary.

I think Mills and Collins are your first two corners and in nickel situations, they slide Mills to inside (like last year) and White/Raymond is the outside guy. Eugene stays as your dime back

Time for Martin to shine.
I agree with this....and at the risk of being shunned by the rant I think he should have played ahead of loston last year

The part none of us can know is how well these guys learn the schemes. You can't have guys on the field making mistakes like Mills did on the play on which Bama took the lead. If Mills plays that correctly Bama is kicking a 37 yard field goal - miss, and they lose; make it, and we have plenty of time to drive to a game winner, or win it in OT.
