I can vouch for several people that I talk to regularly who rarely post here, but have been worried about Miles since he was hired.

Its starting to look like Pellini ought to deserve more credit for those first three years.

I confess that I did not know it from the start.

we basically have Hal Mumme as our coach.

I'd trade Miles for Mumme right now in a heartbeat.

Most of the fanbase knew after the UT game in 2005. But somehow he became LESTICLES after a few fourth down conversions and a genius (after the Arky loss meltdown) when Pat White got hurt and WV lost to Pitt.

About a week or so after Miles was hired I was renting a car in KC. The clerk helping me saw my attire and asked, "What do you think of your new coach?" He told me (with a smirk)that he played for Miles and that Miles didn't coach (but we all know that now, right?)---he said LM put it all on the assistants. He was a DB and said he wished he could've played for Saban.

I knew after he lost five of his last seven at Oklahoma State.

Say what you want about Miles, but he has a clean record. We don't need a coach leaving his cooties on the program.

I was concerned but admittedly tried to ignore a lot and give him a chance and make the best of it.

+1 and has it gotten the best of many here? Oh and thank you Stanley (don't believe in Santa Clause) and the late Mr. Lombardi who evidently was a big believer in Santa Clause.

I said at the beginning of his second season that he inherited a "Kentucky Derby" mount. He was going to ride it, not use a whip or maneuver through the traffic.

I just keep hoping that he will learn from the mistakes he makes and get better at his job just like everyone tries to do.

Please!!!I am sick of these excuses. The man makes 4 million dollars a year. He's not a fricking trainee

I heard plenty from Okie State fans that they were happy that he left. I defended the decision of Skip, thinking that Les would do better with SEC caliber players. I watched the Arizona St game and realized we were in trouble.

After losing to Tenn. in 05 I turned my friend and "Les needs to learn how to coach jn the SEC". He hasn't.

I just wanted him to succeed after Saban lied to us.

I'm another one of the "idiots" that had questions and voiced my concerns after the first game in 05. After the Tennessee game I was convinced that Skip had made a mistake. I'm not happy that I was right. Changing coaches is always risky.

LSU is in trouble because "skippy" the AD hired this second rate clown to lower the costs of having a big time coach!

This LSU program for football has no leadership, no field team leaders and "less smiles" is not the guy to provide this service.

We have another uncoached JR on our hands with GJ, really not either of these guy's faults; having raw talent in no way makes a guy smart enough to lead.

"les smiles" lacks talent and smarts how do you expect him to mold a team?

Yet, by his winning the BCS crown in 2007, he's paid a Top 4 salary, and now with the last two seasons, with only top 15 to 25ish type results.

The first time I heard him speak I thought he was mildly retarded.

I knew when he tried to call a time-out on a change of possession...
