Yeah, but this is a defining moment in LSU football right now. No matter what is said or what happened Sat, the pride needs to come out in the Coaches, the Players, and the Fans.

Hope and Change

Posted by corntiger on 11/24/09 at 10:39 am
I hope this debacle will change the stagnant offense this weekend. At this point, LM and GC have nothing to lose. Man, let these guys play---let it rip. I've been feeling like this offense would explode all year, rather than imploding. Hopefully, Crowton and Miles will let Jefferson loose, hit some deep balls, and let Shep do his thing, and light up the Hogs for about 50. We have the talent to do it.
About a week or so after Miles was hired I was renting a car in KC. The clerk helping me saw my attire and asked, "What do you think of your new coach?" He told me (with a smirk)that he played for Miles and that Miles didn't coach (but we all know that now, right?)---he said LM put it all on the assistants. He was a DB and said he wished he could've played for Saban.

Jefferson--just my opinion

Very smart qb. Very gifted. He's got a cannon. I actually believe he will impress all of you much more when the speed and intensity of the games picks up, ie, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, etc. His reaction time is awesome. I even believe he will be more accurate on the deep balls when he is under more pressure. Anyway, rip my opinion up if you so choose.

Tigers need this back

Hopefully Jared Mitchell and Chad Jones will bring it

ESPN just loves anybody with a wet ball sack.

re: Les is heading back to Omaha!!!

Put him in the dugout and let him argue calls. I thought he could rip somebody a new one last nite on Mitchell's sprint to first.

Love watching him pitch. Very aggressive and doesn't look easily shaken. Just wish he would have sacked that runner on his sprint to first the other nite. That would have been cool. Rosenblatt would have gone crazy and all he would have gotten would have been a 15 yard penalty

Don't take me wrong, I do not believe they are racists. I don't think what I wrote is their intent. I have just had the feeling that was a subconscious Donovan McNabb tone to their comments. You know that all of us from the Beri are intellectually and physically superior, right? These guys on ESPN are just not used to that.

Believe it or not, but I have actually been really enjoying Hershisher's segments on the nuiances of position and motion. He is actually very good in my opinion.
I would rather hear Robin Ventura talk for about 2 hours about that noogie Nolan Ryan gave him
I guess my point was don't mess wit da Beri.
Anyway, carry on.

Point taken, but how much is he messing up or learning, comparatively to other players. I just think they are overdoing it a bit.
Anyway,

ESPN & J Mitch

If I hear how Jared Mitchell just needs more baseball reps one more time, I am going to puke. He is playing as well as anyone in Omaha who supposedly has more "reps" than him.
It's almost as if they are suprised that an intelligent, dedicated, and outstanding person like Jared Mitchell isn't quite yet a baseball player because he is a black football player. Sorry to get off on the racism angle, but I feel an undercurrent of it everytime Mitchell is involved in any part of the game. Why can't they just say, "This guy is extraordinary and will be a great big leaguer." Stop all the, "As soon as he learns to play the game" crap.
And if you can't tell, I'm a Beri Boy myself, so I feel we must stand up for him.

Book IT--10 - 2

Posted by corntiger on 6/23/09 at 1:35 pm
UTI shot their wad last nite. We've seen their pitchers. They took their cuts and hit a few. Tonite, the ball carries for the Tigers in the heat.
My prediction----PAIN
10 - 2 Tigers pouncing on em early.
I liked how after that they panned to some chick with Morehead State on her shirt. That was always my favorite name for a school.
Thanks Chris, you are awesome. It's good to see a Beri Boy doing so well.

re: Any LSU fans living in Nebraska?

Posted by corntiger on 6/7/09 at 7:05 am to
Everybody up there I know loves da Tigahs. When I lived in Bellevue, Bertman would bring the team to practice there. There were LSU banners on the houses. People frickin love LSU up there. It's a true sign of respect. The only thing they wouldn't like is if we get to play them in football and hang fifty on em to get revenge for those Orange and Sugar losses in the 80's.
All I can get free is up to the minute stats--looks like an old Intellivision game.

Sorry
HeauxBeaux, you from da beri? NISH?
Absolutely. They've had the talent at times over the last few years, just had to get rid of Brady, in my opinion.

Ragin Cajuns vs. LSU

With the apparent potent offense and near misses ULL has had, how many points do you think they would score on LSU this year?
I think they've scored one touchdown in their history against LSU.
What do you think would happen this year?
I'd say 49-17. (Tigahs)

Saban's pressor, aight?

Posted by corntiger on 10/1/08 at 9:13 am
When Coach Saban asked, "Aight, who was #2 at this time last year. I'm not being condescending, but does anybody remember who was #2 at this time last year? No you don't remember b/c it don't matter who was #2."
Wouldn't it have been great if a reporter would have said, "Well, coach, that would have been LSU"

Charles Scott ok?

Posted by corntiger on 9/29/08 at 9:05 am
He came up holding his hammie after the last run and didn't look too enthused leaving the field. Maybe he just got a twinge. Any word?
He's one tough Mack Truck. When was the last time you saw a guy that big who can shift laterally and leave DB's looking for the jock strap. And he doesn't mind stiff arming and jacking somebody up.
When the Bildebergs decide it is time.

Leave it alone

Posted by corntiger on 12/12/07 at 9:05 am
ESPN, Fox, etc. are all just trying to report "Breaking News" to stir up the pot and bring more interst in the game and all of their pre-game analysis shows. Don't fall for it. Take Coach Miles for his word, and les get jacked up for Jan 7.

Just that was clever. I have nothing else.
