In no particular order:
D.J. Welter
Thomas dunston
Danny Mccray
I'm sure the same emotion is thought of as you read these names

Best hands I have ever seen catch a pass in Tiger Stadium (I know, I'm young).
I'm older, but you're not far off. Since about 1975 there is one other receiver with Landry's pass catching ability - Eric Martin. You'll hear from others that this one or that one had great hands, but I judge by three things...
1. Size of the WR's target area. We've had probably two dozen WR's since the mid-seventies who could extend and make one handed grabs, thus widening their target radii. None were better than Jarvis and few were better than Eric Martin.
2. Ability to catch the routine passes. Jarvis and Martin almost never dropped balls they should have caught.
3. Ability to catch in traffic. And here is where those two separate from the pack. Both of these guys routinely made catches with DB's and LB's mauling them.
They both lacked speed. And that keeps me from saying they were better than the Bowes, Randle's and OBJ's. But best hands? Put your money on these two and don't budge an inch! Great Tigers!

For me, the funnest to watch were...
Dalton Hilliard - You almost giggled to watch him cut.
Josh Reed - Just couldn't believe he was open AGAIN!
Tyrann Mathieu - Just couldn't believe some of the things he did.
Patrick Peterson - Smooth and dominating.
Michael Brooks - The most explosive front seven guy we've ever had.

I cannot make my mind up so I tried to do it by decades and still had problems – so here goes:
1940’s - My Uncle (had the privilege of playing with Alvin Dark and Y A Tittle and yes I was around)
1950’s – Sid Fournet
1960’s - Jerry Stovall
1970’s – Can’t decide – Bert Jones or Tommy Casanova
1980’s – Nacho Albergamo
1990’s - Kevin Faulk
2000’s – Patrick Peterson
Ask me tomorrow and the names could change.
And forgive the spelling if someone’s name is incorrect.

Wendall Davis also had great pass catching hands if I remember correctly. Bowe was great in the Red Zone.

Honestly don't know how this team (71) lost U Colo.,OM & Gumps; they scored >28 for 8 out of the 12 games and >30 for 6 out of 12! Was at the opener with U Colo. and know they did have a faster team I recall (Cliff Branch I believe) but very dissapointing loss. My sister-in-law attended with us (Tulame fan) and never forget my dad banned her from ever set foot in TS again!LOL
