The best DB's are generally assigned to the best receiver. And, sometimes have help over the top on that receiver. All of our receivers are our top receivers..
Who do you double team?

No ones benching Burrow after that game. I agree throw it 40 a game while running 30. Jefferson is the best and rightfully so. I would say Dee Anderson/Chase/Sullivan are about even. Marshall just isn't physical enough yet IMO but after this seasons experience and a year in the program workouts, he'll be a beast going forward.
I think we are very deep at WR but it's time to put a little more faith into our big WRs. Work on their timing and catching the ball out the air. Work hard with them each week and I think we'll see lots of improvement by seasons end.

All are under-performing...

Dee Anderson and he’s finally starting to act like it

It's definitely Jefferson right now, but I'm happy as hell to see Dee Anderson playing well too, especially against Auburn.

In order I think it’s Jefferson, Anderson, Sullivan / Chase, Marshall....

Jefferson is just the smoothest out there right now. Reminds me a lot of Chark.
Not me. Without raw speed Chark did not have much. Jefferson is the exact opposite - more football player than just an athlete. Jefferson is far better than Chark, and far better than anyone else on our team. Like the poster wrote above, though, Chase is coming.

Jefferson is the most reliable right now. He's this year's Russell Gage. Nothing about him really stands out of a physical perspective, but he just makes plays.
Anderson is a big mis-match with good athleticism for his size.
But after seeing all of them for 3 games you can tell that Chase is the most physically gifted. I'm really surprised they haven't gotten him more involved. That short TD pass vs. SLU showed you a glimpse of his athleticism. Quick stop to make a man miss, then 5 yard dive with one step into the endzone. Chase can be a difference maker

Jefferson, and it’s not even close.
Yep, he's surprising the hell outta me.

I agree. We need to find a way to get the ball in his hands.
