I'd give Dorsey the edge over PP because he played all 4 years.
Not only that, Dorsey is the most decorated LSU defensive player in history. He is a no brainer IMO.

Cannon and Mathieu should not be eligible for the Mt. Rushmore of LSU players due to their off the field actions.
We have 3 NC's. The leaders of those teams were...? Plus one more player for best overall ever.

I would still put Cannon
I would absolutely put Faulk as well
Fournette is going to wind up with a spot
so I am not sure on the 3, but to me it should guys that are faces of the program. These 3 guys are.. I am unsure of the 3rd.. If Miles won another championship he might be my 4th.

1 Gus Tinsley - LSU's first football All-American
2 Billy Cannon - school's only Heisman winner
3 Tommy Casanova - only three time All-American in LSU history
4 Kevin Faulk - the most important LSU recruit in my lifetime.

Cannon and Cassanova.
After them, it's a popularity contest. I like Faulk, Hilliard, B Jones, Dorsey, Peterson, Mathieu, Mike Anderson, Hodson, and a number of others that I saw. I never saw Tinsley, Kavanaugh, Fenton, Tittle, Stovall, or any pre 1963 player - I've only read about them.
If I must pick only 2, then Faulk and Dorsey.

I think four is impossible, but I do agree with Stovall. He was an All American, Heisman runner up, and beat a Bear Bryant coached Alabama team as a head coach.
