Easily Belle at the top. I like Springer on the list, not for beaning Bonds, but for longevity. Not great but solid. I think Big Ben deserves to be in the top 10 along with Walker, Aaron Hill, Paul Byrd, and Ryan Theriot

I saw Joe Adcock play. He got hit flush in the head by a fastball before batting helmets were used. He stayed in the game.

Joe Bill Adcock. My Dad said when people from Red River Parish (Coushatta) would go watch him play that fans would ask for their autograph just because they knew Joe Bill. True story.

This is a silly thing to say. Belle had a great career, but Adcock had stats that were comparable and he played in an era where the ball wasn't juiced, the players weren't juiced, and he didn't use a corked bat.
