Used to be Tulane and Ole Miss.
Then Auburn around 90s to 2000s.
I'd say Bama is biggest now that Saban took over.

But it's hard not to respect Bama. On otherhand, many of us despise and do NOT respect Auburn.

Auburn's my personal #1 hated rival.

They've been trying to force an LSU-Arkansas rivalry, but it hasn't really materialized. It's getting "better" though.

When will other teams learn? Our most hated rival is whomever we are playing that Saturday.

LSU lacks a single team that qualifies as a rival

Schools like Ole Miss, Tulane, Alabama, and Auburn will probably be mentioned but Ole Miss and Tulane have fallen too far to qualify and Alabama and Auburn put each other as their top opponent (and probably Tenn/UGA #2)

There are pseudorivalries with A&M and Arkansas as well but LSU hasn't played A&M much lately and Arkansas has been a fairly forced rivalry (manufactured by the SEC when Arky entered rather than a real rivalry game)

Florida has been LSU's fixed opponent from the East since the SEC expanded to 12 teams - and for a while under Spurrier LSU fans really hated Florida because they just dominated us so badly. The edge has come off that hatred as the series has become more even of late - and now it is a highly anticipated game of national consequence. But aside from calling Tebow's cell phone all night long there haven't been too many shenanigans or too much nastiness between the fanbases

Over the last decade the most important games to win were against Auburn in the first half of the decade and probably Alabama over the last four years - but that is more of a "must win that game to win the SEC West" issue than a rivalry based on hatred

Mixed bag, but I have to go with the loss that hurts the most.

Nothing burns like losing to Arkansas after thanksgiving. It's not even close.

I would say Auburn. Ole Miss hates us way more than we hate them.

Easily Auburn...... IF playing at Auburn. Talk about 'home cooked refs!" They easily get ALL, and I do mean ALL the breaks and calls there.

historically it's Tulane and then Ole Miss. If Ole Miss was ever worth a shite, it would be it. We are good people and they are hideous, with their goat loving and all in the grove. But you know we don't play Tulane anymore, so these are just dead

currently we are Arky's rival in their delusional world. meaning we don't consider them. At all. But they have the want to be LSU. We'll see

Auburn/Bama/LSU really is a 3 way rivalry. We hate each other almost all alike except we have our own place and their sharing a studio apartment with just a pair of bunk beds. gonna be a lil more tension in that situation
