I would say we have a want to beat Alabama the most, but Arkansas is shooting to the top because they talk so much crap without ever winning the big one.
At least Alabama backs it up.

This has been one of my favorite games for years.I remember being out of school every year for Thanksgiving break and looking forward to the game in TS every other year and watching it on the off years. Glad they moved it back to friday this year. But as far as a true rivalry lately it is EVERYONE!!!! D1 or OOC wannabees!!!! KILL EM ALL!!!!!!!!!!

As far as athletics go, there isn't much of a "rivalry", but there has gotten to be a pretty big rift between LSU and UL-Lafayette fans. The only reason I bring it up here is because a WV fan started the thread and I have heard several people compare LSU v. ULL to West Virginia v. Marshall, in that by all accounts, Marshall is the annoying little brat that kicks and screams and begs for attention when everyone just wants them to go the hell away. ULL is our Marshall.

BUT... I would add that IMO... the most HATED has to do with the fans.
IMO, worst fans are effin Georgia Bulldogs. Remember goin' to the SEC Championship 5 years ago and playing them. They were awful and could all be stuffed in a barrel and lit on fire for all I care.
If I hear anyone yell Go DAWWWGGGSS I tend to freak out. I'm glad their program is in the pisser. I want all SEC teams to do well and be relevant except those cheese dicks.
Not to mention their uniform and logo makes them look like Nazis (which is fitting.)

Funny, but I don't think one single person here has mentioned Mississippi State. Is it because we kick the shite out of them every year? God knows those cowbells don't win them any style points...

Okay, traditionally, the rivals are Tulane, Ole Miss and TAMU. Auburn and Alabama don't really count, in my opinion, because for it to truly be a top rivalry, the other team has to hate you just as much and Bama and Auburn have each other for that. Ole Miss hates LSU, LSU hates Ole Miss.
Personally, I don't hate Bama, and I don't believe most LSU fans do either. They circle that game, they want to beat Alabama because that's the other consistently good team in the West and, of course, there's still the Saban thing. The game is always key to determining who wins the West and, thus, has national title implications.
Auburn? I hate those frickers with all of my little black heart. I hate their little mascot identity crisis, I hate war fricking eagle, I hate Bobby and the boys, their cheating boosters. I hate Pat Dye, Gene Jizzick, and the AU "family" street agents in SW LA. I hate that they almost always have a blatantly blown call that directly impacts the outcome of the game when LSU plays them at Auburn. I wish more than the barn had burned down. I hate Nick Fairy and Scam Newton. They win when we want them to lose (Bama last year), and lose when we want them to win (Clemson this year). frick Auburn.

Meaning, for those who live in BR it is whoever we play next... But for those Tiger fans living outside of BR, LSU's biggest rival seems to be determined by the fan base which surrounds them. I live in Birmingham, AL.. So, ALABAMA IS OUR(MY) MOST HATED RIVAL!!!!! Followed by Auburn by about .01%.
And being a UAB graduate, I've heard about that 2000 game one to many times..
