Bama should be their only close game, much like this year, Bama returns 7 starters on offense, and 6 on defense.
and ya think saban is going to put scrubs on the field.

Depends on how many "Les" moments coach has. When he's on he is one of the best. When he's off, he leaves everyone baffled and confused...

I do, very much!

I see the Oregon- USC winner facing the LSU-Bama winner. I give USC a 50% chance of beating Oregon as of what I know of each right now. I give LSU a 70% chance of beating Bama next year(because of how much talent they are returning ect.) And the USC-UO game and the LSU-Bama game are on the same day next year- if my memory serves me right. And well, oddly fans attending the live games might miss watching the other Huge game going on that day. And that sucks. Or even worse they could be at the same time on different stations. Anyone remember LSU-UO on the same time as UGA-BSU last year? That sucked! One would think next years LSU-Bama will be on CBS. However next year the PAC-12 gets it's new media contracts and are picking up more ESPN and also Fox and such. Thus, ESPN and or Fox could really want to challenge CBS and might air the PAC ones to compete vs them for ratings then. If it worked out this way, the countries 2 hottest games for the whole year being aired at the same time would suck for all! And I see all 4 being undefeated until that special day when they all play each other.

Anyways...
I think LSU should be preseason #1.

I am not a fan of LSU in any way. But I am just being honest. If I were a voter, preseason I would put the top 4 like this:

1)LSU
2)USC
3)Oregon
4)Bama
The rest

it will be

LSU

VS

USC/Oregon winner in Pac-12

Alabama, Oklahoma, Michigan, FSU, Clemson, Arkansas, USCe, Georgia, and Michigan State as all outside shots that could make it if the chips fall right.

No this guy. We have no back up to Mett and Miles will not wait until the 14th game to demonstrate his stubbornness and meddlesome ways.

LSU has been talented enough to get the BCS championship game for a while now. Play calling (Crowton) and quarterback play have kept them from reaching it before this year.
This year with the returning talent and improved quarterback play (hopefully), they should be one of the favorites to go to Miami and win.

I am certainly excited. However, in most years there are one or two games that don't go our (or anybody's) way. We play great competition and the SEC is turning into an "any given [Saturday]" type of experience. That being said, I would not be surprised (nor would I look to trash the coaches or the team) if we drop 2 games. I hope we don't but it could happen. I think the same about BAMA.

LSU will be preseason #1. Going 13-0 again this season seems like a strech but we could do it. If we lose an early game in the season we might be able to climb back to the #1 spot. Hopefully we won't lose one badly later in the season. with USC back the equation changes too.

I think we all forget just how difficult it is to play for a national championship. I just dont see it happening.

Even if LSU is the favorite to win the title they will be 4-1 or so. So realistically they have a about a 1 in 6 shot of winning if they are the fav. And maybe a 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 shot in making it. So any rational person would say its not really that likely the will be there. I'll say they probably won't be there.

Well i said 10-2 for the past year and was wrong. We just need to find a qb that can play and we should be fine. I am hoping that will be mettenburger. Only games that concern me are a&m and rkansas.

Well they do lose ALL of their WR core. Just saying. They'll have that guy Norwood at WR and the TE Smelley

Smelley is a SR. He won't be back. Kenny Bell at WR returns as do plenty of talented WRs. They will be VERY close to this season's team minus Trent Richardson. I expect the game against bama in Tiger Stadium to be another defensive struggle.
