What do you guys think? Here are the guys we have not seen this weekend.

Most likely candidates in no particular order:

Gavin Guidry
Danny Lachenmayer
Zion Theophilus
Santiago Garcia

May have thrown too much on Tuesday:

Zac Cowan

Guys who could, but I'm not sure if Jay trusts them enough:

Jaden Noot
Cooper Williams
Dax Dathe
Reagan Ricken
Ethan Plog

I think Jay is just not going to start these guys, particularly in an SEC game

DJ Primeaux
Connor Benge
Mavrick Rizy

If I had to put money on it, I'd probably go with Guidry.

I also think we could see Fontenot again in relief for an inning or two if needed, since he only threw 44 pitches, though that's unlikely. Not likely to see Sheerin again this quickly after a 58-pitch night last night.

Its Guidry then probably Cowan for 2-3 innings. Maybe Noot to start but i doubt it. Benge should get some action today as well.

Williams, Dathe, Ricken, Plog, Primeaux, Rizy need to pitch mid week games i don't trust them in SEC play.

Hopefully Cowan gets the start and gives you 3 solid innings.

Cowan threw 73 oitches on Tuesday. He might get the start, but I would not expect it. If he does, unless he gets quick outs, he won't be in for 3 innings.

I would think he gets a couple innings but i also think Jay doesn't want to use him if possible. Score and game situation will dictate that

It’s Cowan. Didn’t see that coming
It will probably only be a couple innings at most.
Wow. I stand corrected. Good performance. This ain’t Georgia though. It’s gonna be a lot tougher next weekend.

Good thing is that small park, we can knock some out too.

Yeah. Probably one of those 2-3 (depending on pitch count and effectiveness) innings, then the next guy until he starts to fade, rinse repeat. If it works, I'm OK with that.

Please explain how the infield defense is shoring up? We made 4 errors in two games yesterday.

. I said most of the infield defense, meaning 1st, second, and short.

But also have you watched today?

If you can’t see improved defense this weekend, you’re trying not to.

But make sure to keep responding, because we keep making good plays that you’re missing while heads down into your phone trying to talk shite about the team.
