Dabo put Clemson on the map. He will be allowed to retire at some point.
Norvell wont make the end of this season.

Dabo deserves a proper send off, Norvell is going to be left on the tarmac.

Did you see their schedule? Probably 8-4. Plus clemson has to raise the NIL money the talking heads ignore that

I think nightmare scenario is Novell going 9-3. If he wins this game tonight it’s a possibility. They’ve got Alabama and Miami, but everything else is potentially doable. It would be hard to fire him at 9-3 after you didn’t last year.

He won the ACC and made the CFP two years ago. They played Texas pretty tough, too. That's why they were ranked so high to start last season.

That's a cardinal no-brainer. It's Mike Norvell, and may be as soon as tomorrow

Norvell. You could hear the boos all game long & it’s only game 2. They have a fairly tough schedule this year also.

I think there is zero chance Dabo gets fired this season. First, his buyout is $57 million. Second, he's done too much for that program and fairly recently too.

He may not get fired but Clemson is watching their program crater. Every delay in parting with Dabo reduces the chance they will be able to turn it around. This isn't your dad's college football environment. You snooze, you lose. Other programs are way ahead on NIL, collectives, portal acquisitions. I don't even think Clemson has a true general manager.
The ACC could come apart anytime and Clemson won't be a very attractive addition to the B1G or SEC if they suck. Any program can be become irrelevant. Look at Nebraska which has a much stronger tradition than Clemson. They may never make it back.
As for his two titles, who cares in a "what have you done for me lately". Orgeron and Chizik were both gone within 2 years of winning a title.
I can't stand Jeremy Foley, the former AD of Florida but he had a phrase:
"that which will be done eventually, must be done now."
