Seriously? Several of us went in 05 to Tuscaloosa from BR and had one of the best trips of my life. We didn't get to go to the game, but there were TONS of LSU fans outside the stadium. We watched it on a projector.
If anyone is thinking about going, GO! You will NOT want to miss being there. Tens of thousands of peopel will be there outside the game.

I want to go, and have an outrageously expensive room available, but I don't want to camp out at bar @ 5:00 to insure a spot to watch the game.

My son and I went in 2009 without tickets and bought 2 (not too much over face) at about 30 minutes before kickoff. I listened to the Alabama radio broadcast on my radio while in the stadium and even they thought Patrick Peterson was in bounds on his interception.
