Don't know how good he is as a hitting coach, but I think we all agree that that doesn't really matter with Johnson leading the way there. Butler does, however, have lots of experience as a recruiter coordinator, and has been highly successful in that role before. Not sure why he's bounced around so much. Adding him to an already outstanding recruiting staff would certainly make sense.

This whole process has been quite tight lipped. I wouldn't expect anyone knows until the next coach is announced.
