I’m gonna say Neil Farrell f it! Double digit sacks !
The LSU single season sack record will never be approached. Double digit sacks will be a rarity in how the game has changed. TFL is a better measure IMO. We should be looking at it like OPS. TFL+Sacks = Defensive Power Index for a defensive lineman. Maybe there is already something like that. I’ve never really thought about it too much.

Two guys I've been waiting to see break out.
Palmer @ WR
Emery @ RB
Which probably means it will not be them

I’ll go with Damone Clark. I think the combination of race tension and Pelini’s scheme were tough on him and I think he’ll respond to Baker’s and Jones’ coaching and he has a great year.

I’d love to see Clark light it up because he’s probably the most physically gifted of all the LB’s but even with Pelini’s shite coaching I saw Clark be way too tentative in his actions and was constantly on his back feet instead of attacking. He doesn’t seem to like big contact either which is why I’m taking Bugg over him. Strong’s film makes it evident he lives to hit people.

I’ll go Boutte even though he’s a pre-season All-Conference selection. We know his talent (and so does Ole Miss) but I think he’ll actually become known on the national stage.

#2 McGaulghan (yes I destroyed that) but kid came off the bench against UF and made some head turning plays. Then got burnt. But first game to have to come off the bench against that offense. He’s a huge reason we won that game. LSU will have the best secondary in school history as a group.

Tdp will play himself into a draft position. Anthony Bradford will become a dependable player on the interior oline. Koy Moore becomes wr #2.
On defense any of the young safeties, roy will look like a lock as a 1st rounder in 2023 draft.

Gimme 20 on a Parlay of TDP/Mike Jones/Jay Ward. Ward reminds me a lot of Brandon Taylor, a glue guy who is never gonna be the star of the show, but will be consistent and get the job done.

Trey Palmer, John Emery hopefully (or one of the young rb’s)

All due respect to Brandon Taylor but Ward is flashier. Blocked that field goal against Arkansas, had the crazy pick against UF and scored against Ole Miss. I like him a lot.
