that’s very difficult question because some kids have a very specific number, I personally hope the Ebel kid from Cali and Fauske make it, I think Ebel is your starter at 3rd next year. Personally I think young, & moss are long gone but hey anything can happen.

His high school coach told me that he may be competing against his former catcher for a spot at first base.

Didn't Marshall just have Tommy John that would have him redshirting next season regardless? Or is he going to just try playing a position at some point during next season and not pitch until the next?

Louque is hurt and Jay told him to go to LSU E and he will save a spot for him
With smaller rosters LSU can't keep injured players like in the past

I know at one time his parents said he was wanting to still be a 2 way player. In today's age of baseball that is very unlikely. I could see him possibly be a DH while he is still a pitcher. In Juco it is much easier to be a 2 way player but LSU-E should have enough talent where they don't really need him to be a 2 way player. If he just had Tommy John then he will be sitting out next year.

Hope the best for him. Seemed like a good kid.

Try a position according to his high school coach, no pitching next year.
