I would have liked to see the gold/purple/gold combo for this weekend but I think the white/purple/white looks really good too.

Add the stripes to the pants, remove the random purple patch under the armpit, remove the purple collar

I know, I guess you would have to use the jersey stripe for the pants and helmet. Using the pants stripe on the jersey would leave it with barely any yellow/gold.

Obviously we had to wear purple.
Just hope we never frick with our real uniforms. They are so iconic. Us, bama, penn st, texas, usc, michigan, etc are unis that should never change. (I’d throw notre dame in but i hate their new gold) Let the oregons and texas a&m’s be those guys.

Hey, last week Scott Van Pelt spent time on SportsCenter chatting with former LSU stars about how clean and fresh the white/purple/white unis were. We blew out an in-state smaller school and still got prime publicity on SC. I'll take it.

Hasn't it been said that the reason we are wearing purple jerseys is because Vandy is doing a white out or something? Don't get me wrong I love the alternates but I just feel like it is too much white on the field like that. I was at Northwestern St. and maybe it was their purple adding to it too but just made for too much white with them being all white in my opinion. Would have rathered the purple jerseys with gold helmet and pants this week to separate ourselves on the field more.
