That makes complete sense. Yes, that's easy to measure. My list is forthcoming. Hold your breath.

terry robiski would have to be up there. Stovall really pushed him early and made him a through breed

From the handful of practices I went to TM7 was by far the hardest worker the last few years.

Just from what I've been able to speculate as a fan, I'll throw Hester, PP7, Joseph Addai, and Matt Flynn in there.

I guess it depends upon your definition of "hardest worker". Some people equate that to the weight room or the track or watching the most film.

I like to think we all have some kind of talent. Some people are smarter or faster or stronger than others. But to me, the people that succeed, the people that are winners are those people that take whatever talent they have and get the very most out of it. Those that stretch beyond their normal capabilities and get every last iota of performance out of their very great or very meager talents. Now is it hard work or dedication or heart? That's up to you to decide.

I have no idea how hard Jacob Hester worked while he was at LSU. I do believe that he had less than stellar measureables; he wasn't the biggest or the fastest. My belief is that he worked hard to become strong, to increase his stamina, and I believe he has an immeasurable will to get the very most out of his body and his talent.

On the other hand, Tommy Casanova had immeasurable talent. He was fast, he had quick feet and could cut on a dime, and he could hit a guy so that guy would remember it the next day. But he didn't rest on his talent, like say for instance, Jamarcus Russell. He didn't waste his talent. He worked his arse off to become the very best he could be.

That's why I consider both of these Tigers to be hard workers.

I assume you don't concur.....

Hokie Gajan in the late '70's. Nobody could eat pork rinds and do 12-ouch curls like Hokie.

Thanks Tigermike58, always enjoy your posts, and forgot some of the great names like Caston and Eddie Ray! I wonder about TM7, I was under impression he was a maniac in practice, but did he hit weight room a lot? Also what was the word on Jimmy Taylor, Cannon and or former DA?

Because he's white. You know how we always say the white guys are in sports because they are "hard workers". This is so stupid. The black guys work just as hard.

How in the hell can y'all leave off Kyle Williams? Probably the most underrated player in the 2000's on this board and in the NFL. If you are in the LSU weight room, there is a picture of Kyle above the door before entering the indoor practice field from weight room saying determination or something like that. Kyle Williams was the man here at LSU

Your right. Kyle Williams is white. He must have been a harder worker too.
