So you think that if JJ plays like he did in week 3,4,5,6, and 7 he will still be starting?

You answered your own question...He played that shitty for 5 straight weeks and Miles never wavered from starting him.

Please tell me we don't have another QB with little pocket presence.

Actually his #1 attribute. He steps up in the pocket perfectly, reminds me a lot of Peyton. I'm not saying he's as good. I'm saying his body, arm, presence in the pocket reminds me of Peyton.

Roethlisberger had 5 years to play 4.

Mett, I'm just... not... sure.

I would say a combo of Matt flynn and Jamarcus russell just not as mobile as either of them but has a hell of a arm and is pretty accurate especially on the deep ball....He actually had the strongest arm by a mile in elite 8 camp.

Mett is to thick to be considered with Mallets or Flacco's skinny arse.

both are 240 FWIW

ETA: Roethlisberger is listed as 240 as well...

Let's see how "The Mett" does this season before we compare him with a Super Bowl winning quarter back such as "Big Ben."

Completley Different situation comparing Lee to Zack mett.. zack was top of his class coming out of HS...When he did the elite 8 he pretty much outplayed everyone in their also we all know GA does recruit at QB very well.....If he didnt get it trouble right now he may very well have been the starter for GA

Alot of yall keep saying it was juco but he makes smart decisions and now he has a better line, better coaches and players on his side.....I can guarantee you one thing at his level right now he would not go 9 games with throwing 0 Tds and 10 INT like our current QB did his junior year

No kidding, but that doesn't mean we can't have something to pass our time instead of working today.... let's come up with some nicknames just incase he turns out to be good. That way we won't be scrambling around for something stupid, like "The Mett".

I would like to kick off this office party by offering up these two nominees:

Zach Attack
Throwing Zach

Mett is a Left Tackle compared to Bert.

He reminds me of Ben R., both like to touch the girls in public.

What Bert was a fairly big guy weighed around 210 with a cannon. Pretty big QB back in those days. No Terry Bradshaw though.
