His premise is sound. Notice TBob or Jordy had no ammo to refute anything he was saying when it directly came to Wade. They could not defend Wade when it came to the suspension. People are afraid to say it in public because of how ridiculous it sounds. I had this thought when Wes tried to put together a protest and NO ONE wanted to put their face to it, and it was just confirmed today when Tbob and Jordy went silent. Everyone is comfortable talking about it on the internet of yelling it at a basketball game, or writing emails. But no one wants to sound ridiculous when the spotlight is on them.

While I agree with Vitale that Wade's suspension is warranted, he's a hypocrite and clearly defending his friends in other instances related to this investigation.

There was no point for them to try to refute what Dick was claiming about Wade. That would have just derailed the interview even more from what they were actually trying to discuss. They wanted to know why he was going nuclear on LSU and tweeting about dark clouds during halftime or their game vs Maryland while he's been taking it easy on his buddies for years. All he did was deflect away from that conversation by being a loud mouth and not giving anyone a chance to refute anything he was saying. He came out of that interview looking worse than he did going into it.
