2001 and 2003 out of those however also 1987 and 1997, both had great O lines!

2011.

Best LSU team I’ve ever seen take the field with or without a NC.

1982

Went 3-7-1 the previous year including a 48-7 blowout to Tulane. Went out and recruited two of the best running backs in the country (Hilliard, James) and came just a Dana Moore FG and a Reggie Reginelli 31 yd td run on a wet field from playing for the NC.

All 11 staters on that defense were drafted and played pro ball. 9 to NFL and 2 to USFL.

‘11. ‘11 must be what Bama fans feel every year. We were dominant nearly every week.

2011 was so much fun, easy answer. It wouldn’t even be up for discussion if it weren’t for 1-9-12

I feel like those two teams would have fought to a stalemate, the 03 offense wasn’t terribly threatening all the time either.

2003 and 2011 teams were fricking frightened to play against our defense. Probably especially 2003. Chad Lavalais is an incredibly underrated tiger player of the 21st century. 2011 was so much fun because you just knew we were going to beat somebody’s arse.

07 was an insane rollercoaster of a season and I honestly believe that the 06 team was better.

2011 was the most fun I’ve ever had watching LSU. It started with punching Oregon in the mouth, and we just kept steam rolling. I think we beat 8 ranked teams that year. Saints were also awesome that year too. Fun times for Louisiana football.

Honestly, if we’re talking arguably the best all-around team that fans often overlook... 2006. That team was absolutely stacked on both sides of the ball.

2011 was the most fun I ever had for a football season with LSU. Until the mulligan game where they cheated and let bama in
