generally whomever is the starting running back on EA Sports College Football usually sucks and the backup rushes for more yards and has a bigger impact. So with that said ware will have a down year and ford/hilliard will be the shyt.

I think such guessing games would be more honorable if we waited to see what happens the rest of the summer. We dont know who will "emerge" in some way, by his work ethic or physical preparation.
I read an article about a few players who were working with a trainer on a couple of aspects of physical preparation. I didnt realize that they did that in addition to whatever the coaches have them do.
whomever cant block cant play. I would have Hilliard on the field a lot, because he can bring the blocking as well as carries in serious short yardage situations.
And now, with a supposedly better QB, maybe whomever can catch out of the backfield should be a consideration.
Hilliard looked the best of the bigger guys.
I like Ford.
I am glad there are a lot of other guys to get carries, because it wears on you. And some get injured, variously.

Hopefully Ford, finally breaks out in a full way and becomes too dominant in big games for Les to give him extended breaks.

It gets me so excited for the season to think that this problem is one we may have, and it's sure a good one to have.
We legitimately have SIX guys that could start for most teams in the country...six! Not only will this be the greatest LSU backfield of all time, this may well be one of the best in the history of the game. I am actually expecting us to rush for 3000 yards this season as long as Mett is half as good as advertised.
In terms of yardage, I think Ware or Ford leads that. Ware will be back to form I think this year and get the most carries and Ford can break a long one at any given time.
Hilliard will lead the team in TDs I'm guessing as our short yardage back, though I still expect he'll have over 500 yards on the ground.

Ford or Blue followed by Hilliard. Don't sleep on Hill though.

I just hope one is the playmaker that Jacob Hester was. We need a 4th down guy who's not afraid of shite.

Ford
I think he's just gonna be impossible to stop with us having a legit passing game

Biggest impediment to Ford getting more snaps (and more yards) is that he's a pretty serious liability as a pass blocker, or at least he was in 2011. If Ford gets better at pass blocking, I would pick him to lead us again in rushing yards.
Doubt one back runs away with all the snaps this year - probably going to look like last year with 4 or 5 guys (don't forget Hill) sharing the snaps all year long.

I'll go with Blue. I think he has the best combination of power and speed on the team, plus I just like the guy.
