Booing by the fans or the spelling in the players' tweets?

After reading the rant, I'd say spelling by some booing fans.

I disagree. LSU is an academic institution. The people who were booing may have never attended LSU for all we know.

Booing. Misspelling is just them using abbreviations and tweeting fast w/o proofing it. My nephew does the same thing in text messages.

Since the misspelling is mostly due to being limited to the amount of characters you can use per tweet.. I say the booos.

I'll give the benefit of a doubt that some of these are tweeted via a cellular device and people don't generally care much about spelling with texts and mobile updates.

But this is downright slaughter of the English language.

booing, without question. Tweets and texts generally are not intended to follow standard rules of grammar.

Probably because someone else is writing them.

And so it is acceptable? It makes our players look rather dull mentally. Texting and tweeting will be the death of grammar and spelling
