For a draft grade?

I'm going with:
K. Alexander
V. Alexander
J. Collins
D. Hunter
J. Mills

Q. Thomas is another one that might bolt even though he along with the rest of the listed above JR's,could really help themselves with another year.

And why did he petition the NFL to allow more than 5 names?

I'm thinking to prove to all those JR's that they need to stay to help their grade for next year?

And also to keep his word on allowing guys who are ready to enter the NFL do so...I don't see but maybe 2-3 guys with a 2nd round grade or better though.

They did a lot more than Thomas.

Thomas would for sure go undrafted. No chance he leaves.

IMO every JR on LSU's roster would benefit if they stayed one more year.

The 5 names should start with seniors and red-shirt juniors. The limit on grades is completely stupid and counterproductive, not to mention an obvious sell out. That being said, it can't hurt LSU.

I'd say if you have someone leaving no matter what. Don't give them a grade. Guys like vadal or Hawkins that might be on the fence, grade them. But basically the grades are you will be drafted in the first 3 rounds or go back to school. That is what they are telling them. Now guys like freak Johnson won't listen, will leave, and go undrafted.

Just because you are on LSUs roster does not mean that you are a future NFL player. I know it seems like it, but it is not the case. LSU has 48 players on current NFL rosters. These players played at LSU over the last 10 years or so. There have been over 600 LSU players in that time period.

Q. Thomas could not sniff an NFL roster if he leaves, and anyone who think so is foolish.

Correct.

Eta: isn't that crazy to think about? Think of all the studs that we thought over the years were shoe-ins to play a long time in the NFL. Just goes to show you how difficult it is to not only get there, but stay there as well.

I know what your getting at but disagree. The seniors have to go. Why use a grade

This is designed to help the players not the schools.
