Where would we be if Myles hadn't broken his arm?

Would the offense be better than it is?

OL and running game would still be SWAC quality.

He would have broken something else in the UCLA game with our OL.

Nobody can answer that. But I would hope we could have brought a new aspect to the offense Max has not or can not bring. Nobody fears our deep ball right now.

Just as they are crying now for Nuss to play.
Myles would still be waiting for plays until the last moment, the plays would still be blocked by this same OL; the RB room would be nearly empty; we would still have no real TE and the WR's would have dropped the same passes.
The problems with this team are more acute at other places than QB.

Before Myles was hurt everyone was clamoring for Max saying he brought a different element to the offense with his mobility.

I agree I feel we would be better but I also feel we would still be 1-1, and if our guys were not ready to play UCLA that's on the coaches.

Max was no Joe Burrow, he just stood there. And he missed two sure TD’s. Myles would not miss. Not saying LSU wins. I’m not Nostrodomas

Can't fear the deep ball, when the qb wouldn't have time to throw a deep ball.

Seeing that Myles is good about throwing to his check downs and has a quick release and probably can make checks at the line of scrimmage. I'd say we'd be 2-0.

All LSU had to do against UCLA was throw behind the constant 5-7 man blitz, more RPOs, and Max making quicker decisions and getting the ball out early. They did none of that.

That mobility has proven to be a fallacy.

Yep. And he’s not running either.

So it kind of makes you wonder why. Oline? Maybe. Fear? Maybe. But Nuss definitely threw deep so it’s not the playcalling. Max had guys open deep with time on some plays and didn’t throw it. That tells me it’s a max problem. Not sure what’s going on with him. Hope he can figure it out.

Being as we can’t block or run the ball, I’d say 1-1

Easily 2-0. Run game is getting zero help from passing threats or O line but MB is difference for sure

Dunno

OL is crap
Play calling is crap
Running gane is crap.

They couldn’t protect MJ vs McNeese.

How would a less mobile QB with no protection be better? Be very specific how the offense would be different.

LSU has major issues along the OL that aren’t fixed with a QB change. They don’t have a QB problem.
