Money!!!
And how would you work out the ticket situation in the dome? But mainly money.

Playing in the dome was never really an option the Saints were lucky to be able to play Sunday. There was no way the city would allow (Nagin) an LSU game on Saturday.

you are a complete idiot if you think the game has NO CHANCE of being played in tiger stadium. Tiger stadium will be ready and it will be played there.
Hey, go easy on SFP. Just b/c he was WRONG about:
(A) Jacob Hester
(B) Matt Flynn
(C) Keiland Williams
(D) Obama
that doesn't mean he's ALWAYS wrong

With Ike brewing, I'd say the odds are indeed pretty low.

On your TV or in your back yard, but whatever you won't see them to soon before they chase your dogs out of the stadium.

LSU might use Dome for North Texas game

LSU is making contingency plans to use the Superdome for its home game against North Texas on Sept. 13.
LSU Associate Athletic Director Herb Vincent said the school has every intention of playing North Texas at Tiger Stadium as scheduled, but it wants to have a backup plan in place in case cleanup from Hurricane Gustav remains an impediment or another hurricane takes a turn toward the Gulf of Mexico.
Tiger Stadium suffered minor damage and had been without power for three days since Gustav made landfall Monday.
"We fully intend to play the game in Tiger Stadium on Sept. 13," Vincent said Friday. "We are just exploring contingencies in case Tiger Stadium is not functional, or if Hurricane Ike turns toward Louisiana."
Vincent said LSU also was considering Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.
LSU moved its season opener against Appalachian State from 4 p.m. to 10 a.m. last Saturday as Gustav approached, and it postponed today's game with Troy until Nov. 15 because of the storm's aftermath. The Tigers' season opener against Arizona State in 2005 was shifted from Tiger Stadium to Tempe during Katrina's aftermath.
Baton Rouge still is reeling from the storm, with tens of thousands of homes still without power and downed trees across the city's landscape. There also were concerns about security at Tiger Stadium because the ranks of law enforcement personnel and other first responders have been stretched thin.
Vincent said power was restored to Tiger Stadium for the first time Thursday about 7:30 p.m., and the school spent Friday assessing what damage, if any, was done to the electrical system, particularly the scoreboard and stadium lights.
"The scoreboard lit up, but we are still checking out the entire electrical system," he said.
Superdome public relations director Bill Curl said Dome officials and those from Tulane have been working on a plan in case the LSU game is moved. Tulane is scheduled to play east Carolina at 2 p.m. in its home opener and might move the game back to 1 p.m. to allow LSU to play that night.
"We reached out to LSU just about the time they were coming to us," Curl said. "We remember that they allowed the Saints to play there in 2005 after Katrina, so we're willing to return the favor.
"Everyone has been working together on this. We're confident we can get this done. There's a lot to be done logistically."
Curl said a could be coming late Monday or early Tuesday.
IF the game is not played in TS, it will be in the Dome
and FWIW, an avatar bet is weak......UBER WEAK!

really isn't as big as an issue as you would think
there are diferent options..they could just issue refunds or credits towards next years tickets (like they did for ASU in 05), then open sales in the dome on a first come first serve basis as the easiest option IMO

Straight Cash Homey. Now they has rescheduled the game for Tiger Stadium they can still make the money. Can't reschedule North Texas. LSU Would have to give the money back. So they configure the Dome like the Sugar Bowl and can fit 79,000, don't sell anymore tickets and cut back the student section. And if you think it's going be general admission just wait till TAF starts getting calls from the guys giving the big bucks about having to sit in the Terrace

not going to happen
your tickets for the game in TS wil basically be worthless. if you want to go see the game in the dome, it will cost you a purchase of a new ticket
