I was there as well. I lived an hour south of Lexington at the time and decided to go at the last minute with my sister. It was the most memorable game I have ever seen live or on TV. Crazy thing is just about every time I go to a game in B.R. they show the clip of that game. The LSU fans all jumped on the field after that play, a few people tried to knock down the FG posts and then the band started playing and they forced us to leave. The reactions from the KY fans was priceless.

I was taking an unofficial break at work - my boss caught me and my buddy when we were screaming and jumping around, scaring the heck out of patients in the radiology department.

I was offshore on ST 198 and every man on that platform was in the TV room and we all started screaming and jumping up and down like children

I was in the front row in the end zone. Jack Hunt high fived me after catching the game winner.

I was alone at my house...I had homecoming later that night and that was pretty much what everyone talked about.

I was at home. My momma and brother had just walked out the door because the game was "over".
I literally woke the neighbors.

Fixed. The announcers fricked that one up!

I was with a group of friends at a bar. After the Kentucky field goal, people were pissed and some were getting up to leave.
I'm the eternal optimist and told them to sit down, that we would probably run the kickoff back to midfield and then score.
When Devery caught that pass, pandemonium broke out.
I'm pretty lucky at predicting things. I also called the blocked field goal and one of the picks at the Alabama game this year.

Was in a High School marching competition in covington or something.
I brought a portable radio to listen to the first 3 quarters, but then we had to perform. On our way back from the field I saw two guys in LSU attire go absolutely nuts, I figured we did something good but still had no clue. I heard what happened about 20 mins later but didn't see a video of it for about a week when they reaired it on espn classic. Have it on tape now.

I was watching it in my living room with one of my roomates when my other roomate (who was working at Louisiana Pizza Kitchen at the time and was done with the lunch rush) walked in and said "Can you believe this shite? Kentucky? frick!" and then...
It happened.
We jumped all over the fricking house. One of the coolest feelings I ever had in my life.

At work at a restaurant, and the place went crazy. What sucks is we lost to Arkansas on two similar plays at the end of the season blocking lsu from 3 straight SEC titles...

I was in Section 114 I believe (don't have my ticket in front of me). Simply an out-of-body experience. I still to this day can't believe it happened. The one thing I remember about the play was seeing the coke bottles shoot fireworks in the air when the clock hit 0. The ball was in the air at this point, and then next thing you know Devery is running into the endzone. I also remember thinking right after he caught it "please don't get tackled". I really thought that last guy was going to get him. Once he scored, I was in disbelief and then began screaming like a little girl.

Between the upper deck and lower deck at Commonwealth.
3 LSU students ran past me and my wife saying LSU had just won. I grabbed one of the students and said, "I'll kick your arse if you're lying", in which he replied, " follow me to the field-that's where we are heading. We went down the ramp, and came out onto the field where there was an LSU dogpile and 60,000 stunned UK fans.
The funniest part was they never talked about the play on the UK post game show- only how it was the darkest day in UK football. After a 2 hour drive back home to Cincinnati- I got to see the replay. 100,000 LSU fans will say they were there- when in truth it was betrween 5 and 10k.
I was the guy that was there, but didn't see it- will forever be ragged my all of my die hard Tiger buddies.

I wish I could but I was watching on TV in Gulfport. My wife, a Mississippi State grad, was giving me grief over our apparent loss and then it happened. Absolutely incredible.
