Seriously should make the hike to Legends. You'll think you're in BR with the amount of LSU shite there. It is a HUGE place and is busy and fun as hell. DO IT.

Do they always have the LSU game on there? I've heard about this place, but I have not been.

Yes. On average about 20-30 LSU fans show up mostly from north Brooklyn and Queens. I used to live down the street and would go there when I didn't feel like battling the crowds at Legends. They also have a nice crowd for the Saints games.

Legends Bar (6 West 33rd Street, between Broadway and 5th Avenue) is just amazing. I was there for the first time last weekend for the Auburn game, and was blown away. I was expecting a standard sports bar, with lots of different games on different screens, and a dozen or so LSU fans gathered, but it isn't like that, it is purely a LSU bar during LSU games. And it was packed. There were HUNDREDS of fans there, and all TVs and big screens were showing the LSU game. Wear your colors.

I too have been to this amazing bar. I went for last year's Florida game and it was unbelievable. I just wanted to add that they also play the band's songs when they would play them at the Tiger Stadium. Also, get there early, because you will not find a seat otherwise. I liked being upstairs, it wasn't shoulder to shoulder packed up there. Atmosphere is almost as good as being at the game (and in some ways better) so you HAVE to go there.

After watching games at the designated LSU AA bars in NYC, it ruins you for other city's designated watching spots. They do it right.

My rankings:
NYC>Boston>San Diego (small but fun crowd)>Houston (big but not a good experience)>Austin (dead for the game I went to)>Charlotte

I'm the exact opposite. I know I'm known as the all-around nice guy on this board, but I can be sort of a smartass in person.
