La Quinta in Appleton.
Just FYI, may not be a bad idea to call and confirm your rooms. We booked in February and there was already an overbooking. I was told that if there were no rooms that they would "walk" us to another hotel.
Called about 2 weeks ago and they said there were no rooms available and that they were sorry for the inconvenience. After counting to 10 and collecting my thoughts, me and the woman had a come to Jesus. She talked to some people, clicked some buttons and now we have our 2 rooms.

Staying at the Hampton Inn Green Bay Downtown. It's right next door to the Hyatt, and apparently supposed to be pretty nice. I'm using points for the stay--cash price would have been $475 per night. Ouch!

In Milwaukee at a convent (seriously). I'll be praying with the nuns for a Tiger victory before driving north to Lambeau!

The Mariner Motel just across the Fox River in GB. Got a killer deal ( I guess, for that weekend) $150/night. Any other weekend, the rooms are $50. I did have a Airbnb in Sheboygan. But once I found this place, I cancelled the bnb and got the motel room.
I think Stadium View Bar and Grill, Hinterland Brewery, Titletown Brewing Co., and Badger State Brewing Co. are all gonna be going off that weekend. There will probably be Tiger fans at all those places.

There is a pretty good place called titles town. It's a short walk across the bridge. It has a Hugh sculpture of Donald Driver in front of it. The place has good food but the beer is even better there. The brewery that supply the bar/restaurant is right next to it. The restaurant is in a old train depot. There is also a bunch of places to the left of the bridge before you get to the river. That is on the river front which are pretty cool.
Just a forewarning, but Titletown Brewing is playing host to Wisconsin's pep rally on Friday. Of course, it is open to the public, but they're expecting close to 15,000 Wisconsin fans.

That's where we are at too. Got to love how Hilton doesn't up the points for events like they do the price.

Absolutely. I have taken advantage of that feature many a time to avoid outrageous rates on football weekends.
