You can bookmark this. Liggins will be plowing ahead for short yardage touchdowns during games this season. Les is gonna play that guy in some way. Pretty soon, I expect he will be metts backup.

I wouldn't be shocked to see him grab the 3rd QB spot but it's likely he redshirts and Rivers gets all the mop up duty

Liggins will not be the backup. We have a stable of big backs, why do we need liggins to plow into anything?

He would be 4th string right now. I could see les getting pissed at him for not losing enough weight.

But frick man.. Why should he get to 235?

Jamarcus weighed more (taller I know)

I think he'll get a couple plays this year, and he won't redshirt

As a Junior ... he was pretty skinny (for as tall as he was) when he came here from HS.

That said, I think the whole "Les loves mobile QBs" thing is overblown.

You're the worst trolling this board by trying to stir QB "controversies.".

I've never seen the reason he should slim down. Have you seen the kid run on film? He's far from slow or unathletic. I guess it may help with conditioning and such but the kid isn't fat at all. He's just a big kid. His arse and legs are huge and aren't going anywhere.

Redshirt unless he really impresses in fall practice and even then I expect him to redshirt. He's not ready as a passer.

From the info I'm gathering, he may have to prep in 2012. That being said he won't factor in until 2013.

Not trolling at all.

Do you think you know where he'll end up?

Then what? Do you ever think he'll be a starting sec qb?

Think Blake bell at OU

If he plays in 2012, that is his role

I like the short yardage look with Liggins. It's another look defenses have to prepare for. Also, we could throw, hand off, option, play action, QB sneak, etc from this formation. Also, if he is going to stay at QB, it'll give him some solid game time.

Possibly, but any of ya"ll that think you can figure out what Miles will do are crazy. What sense did it make to play McGee last year and burn his redshirt?

Don't count on or against anything with Miles.

It made tons of sense. Miles is making the depth chart as attractive as possible for Fournette.

yeah JJ showed how making defense practice for 2 minutes against the threat of a below average running QB really opens up the offense

If Liggins plays at all, Miles needs to be prosecuted.

I think it depends on Liggins

my guess is this staff tells all freshman that if they can contribute early they will play

if he comes in the shape the staff asked, then Im betting he plays

these kids don't view redshirts like fans do, they'd rather play 20 plays than none

Really? Wait till Moffitt gets a hold on that belly. Sorry, but he has a lazy athletic body (does just enough gym work to get by?) His conditioning is obviously not completely up to par. Reality is about to hit him full force when he gets to LSU. He needs a full year of conditioning under Moffitt's watchful eye before he sees playing time. Why waste a RS for a few plays?
