Name - QB Rating (# of games vs AP-Top 25)

1. Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama) - 163.58 (5)
2. Terry Wilson (Kentucky) - 147.63 (4)
3. Jake Fromm (Georgia) - 140.80 (5)
4. Jarrett Guarantano (Tennessee) - 138.90 (5)
5. Kellen Mond (Texas A&M) - 138.60 (4)
6. Jake Bentley (South Carolina) - 133.12 (5)
7. Joe Burrow (LSU) - 127.05 (5)
8. Kelly Bryant (Mizzou) - 113.96 (5) (2017 Clemson)
9. Feleipe Franks (Florida) - 111.81 (4)

If higher that the above, what metric would you base it off of?

Definitely top 5. Last season's results, this seasons new offense and the potential for him to have a monster year with all kinds of returning and loads of new weapons to utilize. The offensive change by itself has me optimistic that he will be a top notch qb in the sec this season based on his skill set and how he will be able to wreck shite running it with the team talent surrounding him.

I would rate him over Wilson, Guaran..., and Bently. I would also rate his football IQ over Monde.

Are we ranking based on last year's performances or potential?

Your top 4 guys have started two seasons.

Add in the benefit of experience arond him, Burrow should be the most improved. Think he will rank 3rd or 4th in conference

So what makes Burrow move up from 7 when the 6 ahead of him have the same or more experience as a starter?

Especially if the OL provides better protection.

Will you provide a clown answer, as you have in all the other threads?

I think the top 3 after this season will be..

1. Tua and its not even close for 2nd
2. Fromm
3. JB

If JB is the 3rd best qb in the league we probably go 11-1 minimum

There are diminishing returns on experience. Most improvement by QB is Y1 to Y2

As a team, LSU was one of the least experienced offenses in the country last year, will be one of the most experienced this year.

Personally I think with Saints own "mini me" coming in we could see Burrow vault all the way past the guy who unseated a 5* as a true freshman at UGA, and the Heisman runner up, to take the #1 spot.

That's how good Brady is, at least that's what I have heard.

Tua is the best by far.

Second tier is Fromm, Bentley, Mond, Burrow

Third is all the rest, although I think there’s a big drop off from 2 to 3 and from 6 to 8 or so.

Isn’t this the dude who had 3 completions for 18 yards against Vandy?

I'd put him #3 after Tua and Fromm. I'm not basing that off a metric. Other than completion % his passing stats are solid. I like his leadership, decision making ability and his effectiveness as a runner. I thinks his passing stats would absolutely blow up if he played behind a better OL. He took alot of sacks last year and had to throw the ball away far too often.
