New Rules from www.dawgman.com
I don't think many posters from TD will last very long over there...

quote:
1.No profanity. I don’t think this really needs an explanation. Use common sense.
2 .Keep it civil. People will always disagree. But we ask that you respectfully disagree. Let me say it again…..respectfully disagree. That means disagree with the content of a post, not attacking the poster.
3.Name calling and personal attacks. It’s the quickest way to have your post deleted. If you can’t make your post without attacking a poster or calling them names, don’t post it. It’s the #1 problem we’ve had on the boards. It alienates people and affects the quality of the board.
4. We work hard at Dawgman.com to make this the best site on the internet. It’s not OK to abuse anybody out here, including the staff. If you don’t agree with the way we do things, ez inbox us or email us.
...
9. Posts that can be construed as racist, bigotted, or hateful will be removed as soon as we are alerted to them and the poster is subject to being banned permanently from the forums

Other than profanity, they're pretty lenient over there. They don't ban like anyone who says anything remotely negative against ND or some other sites I've been to... and they don't delete threads simply for having a disagreeing opinons like other sites...

They have Walmart everywhere, even in Mexico.

There have been a couple of dawg fans wander through. They seem like a very nice and humble (kind of hard not to be after last year) bunch. Would like to see more of them with pointers on what to do is Seattle. Oh, and again, props to Jersey for his stickied thread.

Being a Seattle resident for almost 20 years, I'm sorry to say there is "no joy in mudville". What little hope the papers try to put on Sarkasian and the returning local favorite of a QB, the cubbard has been so bare for so long of quality recruits that both lines are pretty much band-aided together to take on LSU. Not that they are injured; they just don't have a lot of raw talent to start with. Then there are comments in the papers from juniors and seniors who just didn't go along with the prior coaching team's philosophy of how to play the game. Some of them are now cominig around to believing in Sarkisian's philosophy and plans (a few new converts every day). Is that what you'd want out of team ready to host a top 10 foe with lots of speed and talent? Not enough time to learn the whole playbook let alone buy into it.
Huskies had a scrimmage on Saturday just like the Tigers. While the Tigers had the first squads out there most of the 150 plays, the first team Huskies played for two sets of downs.
I believe the Huskies with Sarkasian might even win 4 or 5 games this year, but most will come in the second half of the season. This is just too much too soon for any of the Husky fans to be talking smack.
They may have webbed feet up here, but the folks sure aren't stupid...
Geaux Tigers
54 - 9 (all field goals for the Huskies...)

here's a good article to illustrate where we are. We're more concerned with getting some decent recruits than discussing Xs and Os this year. Losingham and his "cartoon secrecy" killed this program and divided the fan base. It's time to get it back and on the right track. Fortunately, Sarkisian has us on the right track with a great recruiting class coming in... we need some Ws to keep them though...

+1
I've been over to that site and they let quite a few trolls from WSU and Oregon post. Other than profanity, those guys aren't worse than anything here on the Rant.

One of the best copywriters I have ever worked with is a Washington alumnus. His wife is an incredible designer and she's a UCLA alumnus. I used to watch some games with them back in the 90's when both of those schools were much having great years.
