Back in the 70's I used to empty 2 1 gallon milk cartons night before game then fill with beer and freeze. Go to game next day around 4 and walk in with a sack of slowly melting beer. Jugs. Worked great. As it melted I drank it. Cold beer. Into the second half some games. I'm guessing they won't allow it any longer but give it a try and if you get caught simply blame this posting on TD.

Bc LSU is the daddy and we are just little kids that need to be protected from ourselves. LSU saves millions of lives by denying alcohol during sporting events. Don't believe the media when you hear that other colleges and pro teams sell alcohol.

It could be a liability issue for LSU
Probably the top concern for LSU. No different than a patron being "over served" at a bar, then leaving and hurting/killing someone in an accident, and the law falling back on the bar/bartender that served said patron.

I'm in favor of beer sales. I'm not in favor of liquor sales.
1. Additional revenue. Not only in sales, but advertising.(Maybe TAF dues will stop going up?...right...) It will at least help fund the wish list.
2. Beer will probably keep people less drunk. Some people will buy beer rather than sneak in liquor. Liquor is 40% compared to 5%... It will probably also slow down binge drinking before the game. When you know you can't get anymore, people load up.
3. It may keep people at the stadium longer...
4. Could go either way, but it could slightly raise ticket demand. We may just need a Baptist section... We might need the demand after the addition...
5. It will create a few jobs. Nothing big, but every bit helps. You could also support local breweries as well. Tin roof, Abita, Red River, etc.
6. Because we live in 'Merica! Land of the free!
Probably would want to not sell beer near student section.
Liability insurance would easily be covered by sales.
