LSU spent a lot of money renovating the PMAC not even 10 years ago.

The only thing I'd like is a rectangular seating configuration, not circular like it is.

The PMAC is a shite hole. I'm surprised the AD isn't more inclined to build a new arena. They're missing out on a ton of money on suites and a true club section.

It is neither a shite hole nor a palace. I don't think any revenue is being lost when LSU can't even fill half the arena. Maybe an extended run of success can change my opinion, but personally I really enjoyed going to the cow palace to watch Pete make fools of fools!

shite hole? Really? You been in there lately? It may not be "Grand" but it is definitely no shite hole. The renovations have been nice to the old lady.
We don't need a new arena.

I would also be happy with something like what Auburn has ($99million).

You mean the smaller arena Auburn built because we couldn't fill up Beard Eaves?

They need to get rid of the crap they project onto the ceiling. And basketball and a band has never been a good combination.

I wouldn't be surprised if LSU does something to lower the PMAC's capacity, its kind of depressing to see 3k people in a 14k seat stadium every game but Kentucky

I love the PMAC but I'm a sucker for tradition, nostalgia and cool old shite from the 70's.

I heard that they were going to paint the big white dome top tan, and the very top pink and make it a strip club / basketball arena to increase attendance.

The structures on LSU's campus built in the 60's and 70's are the only buildings that aren't beautiful. Tons of memories in the PMCAC, but it's not an attractive building on the exterior at all. I really wish there would have been some intention for it to look like the Parker Coliseum or Gym Armory, but oh well.

While I've been to many games in Tiger Stadium, I've only been in the PMAC when it was empty, or 2 years ago when the BB team was practicing. Maybe I'm just an LSU homer, but I've always thought the PMAC is a beautiful facility and I want to eventually see a basketball game there.

Nothing wrong with the PMAC. So what if it's ugly on the outside (I don't think it is)? That's no reason to build a new arena at least for the next 10 years or so.

Even Texas Tech got a brand-new arena several years back.
