Not really but he’s going nowhere anytime soon.

before yesterday we were #4 in the country
after yesterday we should be around 15 with 7 games to play

how much more relevant can we be?

Relevant means staying relevant.....not just for one game....your first big test and you can't handle it.....and certainly not for just one season (2019). Unfortunately, LSU is never going to be year in and year out a top ten team. Several down years and then a really good year.....this is the best we can hope for. It will take a new coach because BK isn't going to get it done.

So a decent shot at a playoff every 10-12 years? That’s where we are now?

We cant run a basic rush play......that is a serious issue.

Did you watch the game yesterday? What did you see that makes you think that another loss is not ahead.

we played in the SECCG two seasons ago

we were in the race for the SECW last year when we fell apart in the 2nd half of the TAMU game and then ran out of DL

we are 4-1 and #13 with 7 games left

irrelevance is the wrong word to describe LSU

inconsistent, unproductive, unstable, unorganized are far more applicable

I am in no way defending BK or anything going on right, just think we need to focus on the right things. Yesterday felt like a turning point towards a decline

When we win the next three games and go into Bama inside the top 8.

First they need a relevant QB and in todays age and game that's one that can use his legs and feet ... they need an offensive line of the caliber of 2019
and a defense that supports the whole team...how long does that take?

Yeah that seems about right, maybe longer. You figure best case we are looking at 3-4 years more with Kelly. After that you figure it will take the next guy a couple of years to get his guys and implement his system. Best case sometime around 2030-2035 time frame?

Absolutely, but how many more years does he stay here? My guess in the OP is at least 3 more. We are stuck with this for a while longer. Dude is going to bank over 60-70M without winning a single post season game of significance
who do you suggest? LSU will get to 6-1 and be playoff relevant

LSU clearly has the money to offer 100M to a very mid to bottom tier coach. Seems like LSU could break the bank for someone like a Kirby to come here. Not saying specifically him, but you get the drift.
